Ugh. I'd skip this podcast. It is well written and a fascinating who done it. But, the scheming and manipulative way the story unfolds shows a horrible lack of journalistic integrity. I was leaning toward Emmanuel Fair's innocence (a black man.) But many hours in, the 6th episode, we find out his DNA was found on her neck, her bathrobe, a tissue by her bed, and duct tape that covered her mouth. At that point, Claims of incarcerating a Emmanuel Fair just because he was black was a flat out lie. Claims of racial injustice and misconduct by an *entire* police department struck me as corrupt journalism and slanderous. Oh yeah, and Emmanuel Fair was the only guy at the party who strangled and raped a 14 year old girl at gunpoint. She survived. Fair also had a history with drugs and gangs. Four felony convictions. Maybe, just maybe he was interrogated because of his criminal background and not solely for the color of his skin? I wish we could hold our journalists accountable. I'm
